Painting Party – Baby Sea Turtles in Mixed Media $50

Friday nights are Painting Party nights! Feel free to BYOB and I will have some snacks too!

We’ll start with soft watercolor washes, then add definition and movement with pen work. Next, we’ll pop in highlights and vibrant accents using acrylics and markers. These little honu are full of personality, and our goal is to capture that spirit through layers of color, texture, and expressive detail.

Rock Painting $30

Join in on this trending fad of painting rocks and then hiding them for others to find! I will have lots of cool supplies available and will give you painting tips and suggestions. We will then seal the rocks to make them weather resistant. I will also suggest what you can do with your rocks once you are finished.

Easy to do and all ages are welcome!

Leaf Printing in Acrylics $50

Have fun creating a tropical garden by learning how to print using the texture of actual leaves found around the island. Feel free to bring some of your own leaves that you find. Just keep them moist in a ziploc bag until ready to paint.

Working wet into wet we will create a soft and ethereal atmospheric seascape creating sky, ocean and Kauai's Na Pali Coast. Then we will add a little detail to pull it all together.

Cyanotype Sun Printing $30

Using cyanotype fabric and paper we will make photogram prints by placing objects onto the treated surfaces. Objects that block the light like leaves, stencils, toys, tools, and more are used to create interesting shapes. Come explore with me as we learn the techniques used in this fascinating print making process. Feel free to bring objects you think would make interesting designs.

We will learn about painting flowing washes, layering, and experimenting with unexpected hues. By the end, you’ll have a rainbow honu that glows with heart, harmony, and pure artistic fun.
